Dr. Robert Scanlon

I am a physician, practicing Critical Care, Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine since 2002 and reside in Savannah, GA. In the pursuit of professional diversification and combining my experience and knowledge with my own creativity, I formed Medical Media Consulting to provide technical advising services to the film and television industry.

Mission

My mission is to be a trusted industry resource, bridging the gap between a story well told and the technical aspects being well represented, and to be a valued asset to the screenwriter, filmmaker and production team.  It is also to draw upon my knowledge and experiences to work with authors and screenwriters to create the most compelling story for the reader/viewer.

I am very passionate about my work. Every day I strive to be the kind of doctor I would want to have if I were in my patients’ circumstances. I am deeply compassionate, honest and forthcoming, I educate about disease process and treatment and I communicate with other physicians involved in their care to improve patient outcomes.
